She blatantly opened her acceptance letters from colleges then let’s out a heavy sigh. Tapping irritably on the letters with her fingers she ponders on which school she should go to. After a good thirty minute wasted on stumped thoughts, she pulls out a yellow piece of paper and begins to write the pros and cons of both schools. She wrote down the few conventional pros and cons then grabbed her hair and groaned. She tried to thoroughly evaluate. Mom tells her this school is better, but the other one seems like a friendlier community. It was a school that accepted for who she is and that would help her towards her future that she wanted. What about this school? and that? what about those? Did she really choose the right schools to apply to? Suddenly she became submerged into a rush of panic. “Guys, what do I do?” She goes around asking everyone during class, break, lunch, and soccer practice. Then she goes home and opens up her laptop, thinking more research on each college would help her decide which college to attend. No use. NO! 'Which school? Is it suppose to be this hard to decide?' She drags her mentally exhausted body to the bed and flops. Letting out a heavy sigh, she then falls asleep. In her dream, she's attending a college... a specific one! 'This is awesome! This is the place where I want to be!' She jumps out of her bed.

Paul B. - The story appealed to me as a very empathetic and emotional illustration of the protagonist's feelings. Vividly portraying the girl's flow of emotions and her reactions to each of the happenings she encounters, the author does a marvelous job in showing what is going on. However, the first half does raise boredom as a number of incidents which took place are simply listed as the author neither describes the characters nor does she provide much detail about the content. Though the author may argue in favor of the connection between the chaotic Modernist writings and her work, the story does lack a smooth flow in change of emotions. Overall, this is a lovely example of an unconventional writing.

Seung Woo - The dilemma of deciding which college to attend is portrayed in a very interesting way. It would be hard to get into many schools, but it seems even harder to choose which school to actually go. The emotions are set in a way that the person is very happy but gloomy at the same time because she is having trouble with the decisions. I thought the consciousness was well portrayed through the dilemma. I think the writing could be better if there was more emphasis on the mind of consciousness to reinforce the theme.
